Lol i'll say something different. Twinshot sucks in PvE. If your not PvPing theres no reason to max it or get the crest, thats all. This is coming from a longbow using, I think shortbow users might feel different

No, I barely use it on my acro. If I'm kiting, I use regular attacks. When I combo, I use other skills. I only use TS if the chance permits but it's not like I spam it all the time. If everything is on cooldown, I don't think i ever start with a TS.

Works great on Bosses especially when you wanna keep distance or is at critical HP. Chip away with normal + Twin Shot.

I don't think he was slamming it for not killing the whole mob; rather, for not even killing the one that it did hit. It only caused them to stagger, and then quickly recover and overtake him.

Also, it shines best in PvP, since PvE often pits you against multiple enemies which more than likely won't get hit by all of the shots.

He WAS slamming it for not killing the whole mob. If it didn't kill the single goblin in Carnival, he seriously needs better gears.

As an acrobat I use it occasionally. BUT I don't truely like the skill besides the fact I like getting high combos and it's a very good filler move to keep your DPS going and not have to break for a second to wait for a new cool down. Just my 2 cents, but I believe you will agree with this.

On Topic:

Fact that it's fast cast, instant dmg and rediculously low cd is the reason why I use it.

Reasons:
if its dmg/sec just look at it..
Twin = cd 4.5s
Multi = cd 28s

so 6.2 twin shots by the time you get a multi up n going

Twin shot does.. 56%+700 per arrow so roughly 112% + 1400 spell
Multi is 43% + 608 per arrow so roughly 301% + 4256 spell if all hits

if you activate twin every time cd is done... you would do about 672% + 8200 to a single target by the time mutli shot cd is done. This..is more than double of what multi-shot can do to a single target.

Just comparing with 1 single target, twin is ultimately better. Just my reason of maxing it.

Yeah, twin doesn't hit multiple targets but gets the job done for me in pve when i have a straggler that didnt die from an AoE

Also in my eyes, since I am going to be a sniper, I'm suppose to rape bosses down ASAP. I can leave the aoe to someone else that's better in party play. Also I never really get close enough to ensure multi shot hits a target completely. XD

oh.. someone said something about flinching...adding more points doesn't make it flinch more often. that's just ultility of having the skill and it doesn't work on big bosses. Guided Missiles and Rapid Fire does a better job at that.

but sharpshooter isnt really made for crow control
thur made for high dps boss taker
thurfore ppl are sayin high twin shot cos they have high dmg n fast cd so u can do fast dps

n yea ur other skills can kill multiple monsters at once but twin shot is ur best friend in pvp as well

and I like TS very much
as they said it is a spamming skill with low CD blah blah blah
so here is my point of view my TS is at lvl 14 at current cap of 40
it is lvl 13 but with the help of crafting skill necklace my twin shot is added 1 more level
i think this boost damage if you are really an acrobat spammer
