SEA Having Problems . .

Over a month of playing, and leveling my Swords master up to 25, I lost interest on it so I started from scratch again. I made a Cleric this time, but I'm having troubles on what attribute I should be focusing on.

My mistake on my first character is I spent SP on new skills, but never really paid attention to what they really do, and disregarding their truest potentials. So, now, I'm running around without a head because I have absolutely no idea on what skill I should be spending on on my Cleric.

Right now, I'm just leveling up my. . bolt thing-y? The first skill that lets your foes flying and open for a combo. I'm also thinking of going for a physical or rather offensive Cleric.

And one last thing, is it advisable that I raise its critical chance or should I focus on something else? Any advice?

No, you've messed up already I'm afraid. What class are you going to go for, that would help a great deal. You should look around, there are many builds around.

Most skills in the cleric trees are usually left at level 1 just for comboing or utility (like divine combo). Or they are leveled as a pre requisite for future class skills.

I think I'm going for an offensive priest. Paladins are too mainstream. B]
Well, at least in Greenwood, they are.

Yeah paladins are very common in NA too.

Well just note he was fighting a priest and a pally that is lower level than him and that pally can't combo at all. It's harder to actually be good in 1v1 pvp with a Priest but it gets easier when you go Inquisitor.
You'll notice your damage to be mediocre but you're a tanky mage who can heal so who cares really.
Before you go Physical on your priest, read Jestr's guide, it helps alot. (I think it's stickied at the Priest section).
