Thread necro warning

There should be a warning like "You are about to post in thread who's most recent post is over a month old, are you sure you want to do this? Please only necro a thread if it's very important." or something to that effect.

I don't know if Dom will bother even looking at this or if it's even doable. It would prevent possible accidental necroing of threads in case you were surfing on google and came across an old thread.

besides, for that topic, there was about 3 pages worth of dates that were old. im sure its obvious

The problem is if you use google to look for information, some people don't check the date of the last post. Yeah, it's not really needed but I thought it'd be a nice feature.

I strongly disagree. This is very much needed because it's annoying having people reviving rather old threads. And don't command someone to just "delete their post," because it's an open suggestion and people have the right to express what should be added.

I think this feature is a good one to implement and not to mention, if it gets added, this forums would be one of first (that I know of) to have such feature.

I actually like the idea of Letting people know "this post has been (how much long ago)" of the topic was posted. This keeps the forum clean and updated all by itself. Plus on top of that it could help keep even more fights, drama-related, and bad idea topics out of certain topic posts.
