Get the site back on track?

I love(d) this site, I got on it every damn day during late summer. But I bet most of the site would agree that DNS is dying, if not 90% dead already.
First of all, the last news article was what? more than a month ago?
Second of all, there MIGHT be a LOT of people on, but there's not very many posts/the community isn't nearly as active as it was before.
Third, the site has issues/bugs e.g.; every 3 days there's some issue with the forum where we can't actually get to it without getting some error or any other pages, home is the only one working.
So I really don't know what's going on? Maybe people having too many tests or in-school problems since it's sort of in the middle of the year, but seriously Dom what's with the site issues and where are the mods because I'm not seeing many news articles getting approved and threads getting cleaned...


EDIT: Actually I take back saying that the community isn't as active, we're still active but the staff seems WAY too un-involved.

I think that's a problem with your ISP. A temp fix for it is to remove the "www" part of it, I have the same issue at home.

The mod(s) is still cleaning up ads from bots and stuff, but Dom hasn't done anything at all for a long time.

Maybe when Winter vacation is here, the community will be more active. Oh and there are tons of lurkers here.

I remembered DN Source being a lot more active couple months ago when I was still cruising here as a guest. I'm sure DN Source will be more active if there's a couple more mods and efficient events going on weekly.

I'll be working as hard as I can over the Winter holiday to ensure this community gets back on track. I have a few event ideas and hopefully we can fix some of the site issues that have been stopping people from accessing certain parts of the site.

There's nearly more then 500(no bots) guests everyday on DN Source everyday. At least half of them should start making accounts instead of just "come and go". Oh yeah, the admin/dev should block every sections of DN Source so only it is viewable for members only. That way more people would start making accounts and not just get helpful advices for free:/. Just my idea -.-"

Make it private. Allowing so much Guest won't really help the site :/

While making the site private and only viewable when you sign up will help the site grow but it won't increase activity much. They could just create an account then lurk like always. People usually come here for information and when they have a question, they will create an account themselves and post.
