so taking that considering this game isn't booted up like the others. there is no way to make a browser less launcher?

There is if an in-game login exists (which apparently there is), or someone can decrypt the authkey used in the startup parameter.

Here's a way to check.

Log in on website, click play. When the patcher loads, log out of the website. Click start on the patcher. I'm going to try this right now.

There's already a browserless launcher released on DN IRC, I'm unsure why it's not released on forums yet.

didnt work... apparently, when you click launch it saves your data, even if you log out. it doesnt do that on combat arms and mabinogi...

Well, if you did that wouldn't that also bypass game-guard, however shitty it is, it still helps.

to be honest i would be pretty happy to see a direct launching into the game instead of going into their website...my firefox opens up with 150MB or more...takes too much RAM for a nooby computer >.<

This may be a necro, but since a google search directed me to this thread I may as well post it here.

Rather than clicking DragonNest.exe, I was able to launch the game directly by using dnlauncher.exe and had no problems logging in.
