I think what they mean is that it's the name for the engineer considering that they talk about engie skills mainly.

At least she's not a goblin, did not came from DotA, and has a unique name. I wonder what people from Nexon NA will name her class tree? the Engineer (Shooting Star, Gear Master), and the Alchemist (Physician, Adept) one?

And when you're done toying with your enemies, wipe them out with with an earth-charring biochemical missile and call it a day.

So I'm assuming we're only getting the engineer version of the academic? Seeing as how kDN only recently got the alchemist class. I'm not too sure if I trust Nexon to have both jobs available for NA in a few months.
