Also, are people still abusing Gold Rabbits? I haven't seen nor heard about any exploiters recently. I guess I won't be seeing any starting tomorrow

I guess they're over timing rather than under timing. 8 hours is plenty of time to do, whatever they're trying to do - If they undercut it again, when they break the deadline they'll have to extend it and then go "Oops, 2x XP for ya'll today!" again.

Did all my mino already for this week. Nothing to do now. Go ahead and fix the server. This is the first mmo I play with me able to finish the entired content for weeks already. I never able to finish any other mmo content be4. Maybe I'm too good.

No, they fixed the bunny exploit in the Daredevil update, not sure why they decided to publicly announce it this update.
