HELP! an annoying problem!

Okay guys, i have a problem. I'm in the noob town, and i try to go into the blue portal to the dungeon area. I go towards it, click the far left button, and then the game fades to a black screen. And that's it. It stays like that for forever.

How can i fix this..? :\
It didn't do this when i played this game before. Which was a couple of months ago

Welcome, thanks for coming by DNSource! It sounds to me like you are having connection issues. Just got a few questions to rule out some other possibilities though.

1. Does everything work properly in town? No lagging and you can see other people's characters?
2. Are you in the JP or the KN version of the game, and did you follow the guides that were linked to here to get on?
3. What kind of connection do you have to the intertubes?

And also a few things you can try to resolve this.
1. If you logged in to the JP version, make sure you turn your VPN client off after Gameguard loads, it slows down your connection immensely.
2. When you get into town, try changing channels. It might be as simple as too many people on the same channel and your request to the server getting lost in the shuffle.
3. If all else fails try redownloading DN, you never know when a restart will help.
4. Upgrade your internet connection, or try it over at a friend's house who has a better connection. If it works there then you know what your problem is.
