So I was spectating on Chinese DN and I saw perhaps the best Elestra on the server in action. I recorded some of the fights and I wanted to share them with you guys. All of the characters in the video are at the maximum level cap.

Is this how all Elestras fight in PVP? It seems like this Elestra has total control over the situation. She pins the enemy in a trap of PAIN and they take full damage from her DoTs because they're bouncing off of the ice walls she strategically placed (against the environment walls, creating like a cage). Notice how close proximity she is throughout the fight. She's constantly dancing in and out of the warrior's melee range. The Elestra fights like a warrior. She's basically a warrior herself, with a sprinkle of ice and fire.




Here's footage of an Elestra in a 8 v 8 group fight. Notice how she kills like ten people while at 4% HP LOL.

The warrior really isn't that great. l didn't watch the whole video, just about one minute of it. lf he was like most of the decent warriors l've seen, he would've charged her, chained combos, evaded with dash (circling her), then go in for another chain combo. He was way too close the whole time, and he walked around doing nothing a number of times.

Well, after watching more of the video, l guess you get to see how she really plays. She does control her character very well. Elestras are pretty OP, from what l've seen. lf you manage to get past 1 minute of fighting her, you're usually KO'd after she uses her ice orb that shoots ice fragments. However, anyone who could chain a decent combo on her would win quite easily. An Acrobat, for example. Preferably a Tempest.

All of the characters in the video are at the maximum level cap. The Moon Lord in the video might SEEM like a baddie but upon closer inspection, you will notice that it's because the Elestra is not allowing the warrior to do anything at all. She's that good.

Elemental Lords don't fight like warriors. They just fight closer than other ranged classes (the main draw for me).

If by overpowered, you mean a new player can pick it up and destroy those with more experience, it's quite the opposite.
In other words, it wasn't the Elestra's power winning those matches, it was the player's skill.

Both of classes (Moonlord and Saint have higher advantages IMO) are naturally weaker than the other classes in DN, yet she, the Elestra shows a bit to wwhat an Elestra can do in PvP. The only opponents worthy to fight this skilled Elestra hands down a divine avatar Paladin branches, preferably a skilled Merc too. I'm too excited to see moaaarrrrr..

Dang, so much for Elementalists being the underdog. Elestras can kick ass if you use them right. I really want to see more of this person's PvP matches.

Looks like the warrior just sucks.
Most classes have combos that, if you get caught, will trap you for most of your health bar.

Also, that warrior is showing zero repositioning experience.
PvP is all about repositioning yourself CONSTANTLY in response to enemy movements for better attack angles while making yourself less vulnerable. But if the enemy isn't in a good position, that's less needed and you can just wail on them.

Or you could turn up your mouse sensitivity. o_o

In this new patch eles got a +20% dmg on lvl 32 skills (Flame load and freezing mist). Ele's are not underdogs anymore (at least not Elestas)
