Default Moonlight Splitter EX

Does anyone know how the extra 30% damage is calculated?

Is it +30% to your skill percent extra each swing (thus 160% -> 190%) or +30% to the entire damage of the skill (160% -> 208%)?

I think it's every swing. If it wasn't, it would be a weak EX skill.

Pretty much this, since Moonlight Splitter's description only shows how much it does per swing.

I know every swing, but is it 30% to the % damage per swing or 30% of the damage of the swing itself? (See example if confused o_O)

Oh, I think it's just an additional 30%. Not exactly sure but it doesn't make too much of a dif.

I don't know about the 30% distribution, but it increases the range in width by a lot, which is really useful and keeps people from easily dodging it under the pretense of its predictability. That range shakes things up, and along with the damage increase from getting it to 11 and the 30% bonus, makes it a powerful skill. But if the range and increased damage don't seem worth it, just don't spend all those points on moonlight slash, which frees you up a lot for other skills in the SM tree. It also depends on how often or not you'll be using the skill. And for a Moonlord, you'll probably be using it a lot.

Also, moonlight splitter has around 150% damage for each swing. 30% of 150 is 45, and a 45% increase to each swing would be pretty sweet(195% per swing). Of course, it could just be a 30% bonus to each swing(180% per swing). Either way, it seems like a significant increase in overall damage(90% or 135% per move). Unless it's 30% for the whole move, but i doubt that.

I watched some videos and the damage seemed closer to 30% additional, rather than 30% increase.

...I somehow doubt it's 30% for the total.
